The ClockworkMaybe it's the heat   
Maybe it's a lack of sleep   
(Maybe it's my words for you, all dark and thick and sweet.)   
I can feel it, a thick sludge waiting to be let in.  
It seeps at the seams, a dark unpleasant guest, and the antidote  The antidote  My antidote--   
Should I write these lines or close my eyes to pray?  The clockwork, the guesswork, the time-before-I-die-work,  
jumble into a mess and my eyelids shine with colors of a theory-go-round.

My first journal in almost a year. O_o

I should take my boyfriend book shopping more often. He picked out a book for me called "Unwind" (Neal Shusterman), and my gosh. It's been keeping me from my work all morning. The best book I've read in a while--which is funny, considering the last book I read was steller as well.

I have a lot to get done. Or, at least, it feels that way.
I need to:
-Send out thank-you letters to those who sent graduation money
-Go through online orientation and set up a counselor to get Fall classes scheduled
-Get my edited manuscript back from Natalie (and make appropriate changes)
-Write my query letter
-Final changes/send out manuscript
-Work on Natalie's and my birthday party (it's a murder mystery with a plot we wrote, ^^)
-Read my new book
-Work on my newest piece
-Make time for my friends and family
-Keep my sanity


Hopefully those aren't in order of importance. o.O

Anywho, wish me luck, and those close to me...
Well, don't fret. My schedule always seems to look like this--only I usually have homework, too. XD
